Bass for your Face

Three day weekends are spectacular. Movie watching and tons of reading done.

Visioneer and Chumscrubber, both great movies. Still reeling from Chumscrubber's ending and how everything came together. Glenn Close's character, though more minor than the others, was definitely a highlight.

Comedians of Comedy again turned out to be great, I LOVE Maria Bamford.

Recent listening list:

Venetian Snares- DOLL DOLL DOLL
Nero's Day At Disneyland- From Rotting Fantasylands
Ars Dada- In Discordia
Duran Duran Duran (yes, there's 3 Durans)
KnifeHandChop

Recent reading list:

The Kitchen Readings: Untold Stories of Hunter S. Thompson, by Cleverly and Braudis

Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy, and The Road. Of the Trilogy, I think I enjoyed The Crossing(book 2) the most, due in part to the story of Billy and his journey with the wolf into Mexico.

Alan Furst's Red Gold, and Your Day In The Barrel

Just finished Denis Johnson's Resuscitation of a Hanged Man... Phenomenal! And I recently started his Already Dead: A California Gothic

Back to work tomorrow, but going into it with a refreshed outlook, and the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight! Soon, it'll be switching gears back into school mode, getting a little less skin cancer and being in the presence of people much more often.

Keep positive! No more worries
